Mice and Men book review

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck is a very good book. It tells the story of two bums named Lennie and George. George is small and quick witted, while Lennie is lumbering and has the mind of a small child. They must flea from city to city due to Lennie always getting in trouble. They soon find a ranch to work at for a few months in order to realize their dream of raising a farm together. They work with several other ranch hands. Along with the cocky former boxer Curly and his flirtatious wife. Curly doesn't like Lennie and constantly picks on him. Lennie not knowing how to defend hims self is forced to break Curly's hand. Thorough the novel, Lennie tries to take care of animals but kills all of them not knowing the consequences of his actions. George tries his best to stay Lennie out of trouble, but it all becomes too real when Lennie accidentally kills Curly's wife.
